Instructor Course

Along with the classes we have for the students themselves, "Mr. Jim" also conducts instructor courses for those who are interested in enhancing their programs or that are interested in creating a new program for the non-typical child. Teaching methods and understanding learning processes are just a couple of topics that the instructor course covers. To contact "Mr. Jim" directly, please refer to the Contact page.
Some of the topics in the Instructor Course include:

  • Modifying your teaching methods
  • Understanding learning processes
  •  Student-based teaching vs. Instructor-led teaching
  •  Managing behaviors
  •  Using research proven teaching methods
  •  Setting up a new program

Additionally, there is a two hour session in the water that includes real students.
